Amy says: You can put in a very zesty 3/4 personal spin if you turn "the wrong way" between the neighbor and partner claps. This is a huge "OMG I'm cool" incentive for most teens, especially males. I often stop the dance (horrors!) after it's been going enough times to get "gelled" and (quickly) show them this variant. It means you use the final clap with your neighbor as a launch, which works great because you've built up this whole relationship through the initial sequences.
