Social dancing is fantastic for teenagers! But teens are scarce in many dance communities, as they often don't fit comfortably at events with mostly adults or families.

In Philly a great solution has been a monthly teens-only dance, which I coordinate and call. Here's the story of its birth and growth.

The sweet spot for repertoire has been a combination of barn dances and easy (but satisfying) contra dances, with no-role dances especially useful. Many of our favorite dances aren't in wide circulation so I've included them here on the Dances page.
