I've had the pleasure of dancing rapper with a succession of fine teams, and the honor of teaching rapper classes at Pinewoods and Mendocino dance camps.
The notes from those classes are referenced below; each link is a PDF with figure descriptions for a full dance.
Or you can browse the collection of Figures, with descriptions and links to the dances in which they appear.
Mendocino English Week 2001, Advanced Rapper—A full-length dance with a lot of structure, performed (at the time) by the Commonwealth Morris Men. A Slide chorus separates three figure sequences, each with a stepping figure, a nut, a moving figure, and a rotating display figure. Includes Arches and Stripes.
Winlaton—A straightforward traditional dance with a distinctive "spin the lock" chorus, more or less as danced by the Monkseaton Morrismen in 1990.
Pinewoods English & American Week 2005—Another short dance with a Split Curly chorus separating three figure sequences, each with a stepping figure, a moving figure, and a nut. Includes Flying Pixies and Follow We.
Pinewoods English & American Week 2009—A short dance with variants for five or six dancers, and a Slide chorus. The six-person version (with fool) includes the Greenwich Guard "Ornetti" sequence with its double-triangle Ornetti Lock.
